On a typical shift you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Full-time with occasional weekends.
