Vacancy available: glass fitter (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Madison County, Iowa. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. You will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; replace cracked or broken window panes; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film. What we are looking for: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
