Immediate opening: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Grundy County, Iowa. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Your main tasks: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat 6+ years on the tools preferred.
