Aluminium section fitter — Winnebago County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in Winnebago County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial shopfront installation. Day-to-day duties: • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels You should have: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows Six days a week, one day off.
