Join our team: brick and block layer (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
