Fitter on the line — Lauderdale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will work at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred Day to day you will pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
