Toolroom milling operator • Grundy County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Grundy County, Illinois. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $6,500 per project, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
