We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in Person County, North Carolina. You will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; replace cracked or broken window panes; measure window and door openings and order glass to size. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools 1+ years on the tools preferred.
