Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Rusk County, Wisconsin. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time with occasional weekends.
