Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Newberry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Newberry County, South Carolina. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
