Urgent requirement: refrigeration technician (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Niagara County, New York. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. The role involves: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 4+ years on the tools preferred.
