Marble mason — Sonoma County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble mason in Sonoma County, California. You will be based on a hotel and villa renovation project. Day to day you will cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Own hand tools an advantage Performance bonus on top of base pay.
