Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,500 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
