Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Mellette County, South Dakota. The job is on a busy domestic building site. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Day to day you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
