Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Sumter County, Georgia. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
