Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Part-time with flexible hours.
