Join our team: we are hiring a RCC mason in Missoula County, Montana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
