GMAW welder — Calderdale

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Calderdale, England. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
