Bakery assistant • North Lanarkshire, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks 4+ years on the tools preferred.
