Wood machinist wanted in Mora County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Mora County, New Mexico. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On the job you will handle: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
