You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Day to day you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days.
