Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Owen County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations You will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates.
