Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Sevier County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy body shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
