Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in County of Flintshire, Wales. You will work in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,200 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
