Bodywork technician — Giles County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Giles County, Virginia. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Your main tasks: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
