Trowel-trade bricklayer — East Carroll Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
