Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
