Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Gonzales County, Texas. The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
