Vertical transportation technician — Tallahatchie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
