Garment machinist — Menominee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Menominee County, Wisconsin. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Six days a week, one day off.
