Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Jones County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
