Vacancy available: we are hiring a site labourer in Cheshire East, England. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times 1+ years on the tools preferred.
