Access scaffolder • Tipton County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring an access scaffolder in Tipton County, Indiana. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang On the job you will handle: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Six days a week, one day off.
