We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Buckinghamshire, England. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
