Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits.
