Occupational health and safety officer — Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Jackson County, Texas. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
