Immediate opening: joiner (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a joiner in Putnam County, New York. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. On the job you will handle: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
