Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off.
