Steward — Philadelphia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steward in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a catering unit. You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Punctual, reliable and hard-working Day-to-day duties: • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading 2+ years on the tools preferred.
