Great opportunity: furniture maker (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. You will be based at a shopfitting company. You will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
