Immediate opening: scaffolding charge hand (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Crawford County, Indiana. You will be based at a shipyard. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Day-to-day duties: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
