Gas commissioning technician • Haskell County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Haskell County, Kansas. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
