Urgent requirement: beldar (Maine)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a beldar in Penobscot County, Maine. You will work with a civil contractor. You will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Part-time with flexible hours. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
