System scaffolder • Northumberland County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Northumberland County, Virginia. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards On a typical shift you will tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
