Now hiring: we are hiring a floor screeder in Monroe County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 5+ years on the tools preferred.
