Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads.
