Immediate opening: framing carpenter (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools You will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
