Now hiring: auto diagnostics technician (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto diagnostics technician in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will be based at a car service garage. On a typical shift you will read wiring diagrams and trace circuits; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms. You should have: • Valid driving licence preferred • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
