Bar bender and fixer wanted in Eddy County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Eddy County, New Mexico. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
