CNC milling operator • Haywood County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Haywood County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day to day you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
